Mid/Late-2000s Lexus LSes. Or Japanese luxobarges from that era in general.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

And a Korean, for good measure.

Sure, they’re not the most exciting things to drive, nor do they look very exciting. But they are such nice places to be.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

And unlike a Mercedes or a BMW, you won’t be paying up the ass all the time to fix menial things.

The Es350 is the good one of the bunch, the 330 and 300 weren’t great engines. The Hyundais of that generation aren’t really that well screwed together either. I don’t know much about the datsun .

“And unlike a Mercedes or a BMW, you won’t be paying up the ass all the time to fix menial things.”

Not necessarily true! Totally make/model dependent. For ex, LS460s have finicky air suspension that will give you just as much trouble as a contemporary S class.

Hm. That’s a bit of a drag.

Why the hell can nobody ever develop an air suspension system that actually works?

I prefer the previous generations of these. Early 2000s.

The M35 of that generation is unbelievably reliable. We have a customer with one and it has given them absolutely no trouble. My next dd will be a Ls460L AWD or Ls600hL though.

its so nice being able to ride at a normal height and not worry about steep driveways and speed bumps, then get looked at by the tuner kids with disgust because my car “needs moar low” then, Psssssssssssssssssssss, drop frame and drop jaws hahaha

Accuair is awesome that it has self leveling and weight compensation too. being able to raise the curbside of the car on really high crested roads so doors dont scrape is nice as well.
